Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the MoveProof mobile application. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Related: Privacy Policy.
1. The service
MoveProof helps tenants and landlords document property condition (move-in, mid-tenancy, move-out) and assemble evidence packs. Templates and tips (including US / UK / EU-oriented copy) are organizational aids only.
2. Account
You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or violate these Terms.
3. Acceptable use
Use MoveProof only to document property condition and assemble evidence packs for legitimate tenancy purposes. Do not upload unlawful content, harass others, attempt unauthorized access, scrape the service, or misuse shared guest or join links.
4. Your content
You retain rights in photos and records you upload. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate MoveProof (including sync, guest reports you create, and invites). You represent that you have the right to upload that content.
5. Deposits are not held by us
MoveProof does not hold, transfer, insure, or administer tenancy deposits. We are not a deposit scheme, escrow, or payment agent. Deposit amounts you enter are documentation fields only. We do not replace state-required deposit itemization or official scheme filings.
6. Not legal advice
MoveProof is a condition documentation tool. We do not provide legal advice, predict dispute outcomes, or replace a qualified professional or official deposit-scheme process.
7. Subscriptions and purchases
Paid plans and in-app purchases (when enabled) are billed by Google Play or Apple according to that store’s terms. Prices may vary by region. Cancel in your platform subscription settings. Demo / mock billing in the app does not charge a real card.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MoveProof and its operators are not liable for deposit outcomes, landlord or tenant decisions, lost evidence after sharing, or damages arising from use of documentation tips. Use the app at your own risk. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Termination
You may delete your account in Settings. We may stop providing the service or suspend access if you violate these Terms or if we must do so for legal or security reasons.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update posted at this URL constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The date at the top will change when we publish updates.
